Tom Hayes

Tom Hayes is TriSure’s Safety and Health Consultant. Tom evaluates companies to see how TriSure can help them improve the safety and health of their organization. Tom performs Site “OSHA type” inspections, evaluates existing safety manuals, rules etc., and makes recommendations for improvement. He does safety and health training and has assisted in accident investigations. He also advises clients who have undergone a real OSHA inspection and have received citations and monetary penalties.

Tom spent more than 20 years with the North Carolina Department of Labor, where he eventually became the Bureau Chief of Compliance (Eastern Region).

He is proud to have served as a Captain in the United States Air Force from 1969-1973.

In his spare time, he and his wife help support two adults and one child in Alto Cayma, Peru.

Tom obtained his Bachelor of Science degree as well as a 2-year business degree from N.C. State University.
